[maemo-users] power off

I had a mysterious power off happen and wondered if anyone had any insight.
Last night using fbreader to read in bed. When I was done, I closed the case
as normal. This morning when I opened it up, the device was powered off. I've
had this happen once before, when the battery was low. But this time it booted
right up, and the battery indicator still showed full.
Any thoughts on what might have happened? I left fbreader running, but no
other apps were running.
Also this pointed out a small flaw with fbreader. When I restarted fbreader,
it had forgotten the page I was on and the changes I'd made to options during
that run. Apparently it only saves changes when you exit.
Is there a power-down event that fbreader could catch to tell it to save it's
settings? How bad would it be to save settings every time you move to a new
page?
