Thank you anyway.

I have tried to modify the data by myself but I don't understand everything.
But pvdata gives more coherent inofrmtation.

I continue some tests because my data is very important.

First question :
Is there any document that discribes the structure of the data ?

I order to reinstall the portable pc, I made a backup of the 3 partitions,
and also backup of the ârtition table of the disk. So after dd of the
partitions I have 3 normal files.

I tried a

pvimport -f oldvg hda6 hda5 hda1

The result is: cannot stat hda6.

Question 2 :
Is there any way to import the vg directly from these files ?

Thanks a lot
