RH AS 2.1 does NOT support LVM, so you wont have any support from RH for 
that functionality.
RH AS 3.0 comming in october (Beta version on RH site) will support it.

Does Red Hat AS 2.1 have lvm support by default or do I need to compile it
as a module.  I can't seem to find where it does or doesn't have lvm 
support
on Red Hat's Web site.
