RedHat has only begun to bundle LVM in their products with RedHat 8.0 released at the end of September. That being said, the RHAS release cycle is something like 6-12 months, which probably means that RedHat Q&A will typically bang/hack away at a product for almost as long before they deem it "enterprise ready" according to their own standards. Once the product passes Q&A, they'll bundle it with RHAS. I would expect to see some kind of LVM in RHAS 2.2 or 3.0... Hello all, I would like to ask if you know why the Advanced Server version 2.1 doesn't support the LVM in the shared storage and in the boot disks that run cluster services? All the enterprise versions of UNIX (HP-UX, AIX etc) have LVM. Why RedHat doesn't? Thank you very much, Ioannis Lekakis __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
