Yes, fancontrol-3.12.x was created under 3.12 (actually a while before it) and fancontrol-new was created under 3.13.

I saw that the path changed, but shouldn't pwmconfig correct this for me?

Yes, this is running fancontrol under 3.13 using /etc/fancontrol-new which again was generated under 3.13.

I deleted /etc/fancontrol* and rebuilt again under 3.13 (it is attached after I edited it).  It now works.  I am not sure what I did the first time through.  Sorry for the noise to the list.
