That may be one reason, the other is that the board uses NCT6779D which
is only supported by the standalone nct6775 driver (available from
https://github.com/groeck/nct6775).

Hmmm ... either this came up before or there are multiple people writing a M.Sc.
thesis about board temperatures and fan speeds.
