I have an Asus P8Z77-V motherboard with an Intel Core i7 2600 Processor, and I am working on my M.Sc. thesis. In order to Implementing my project, I need to monitor CPU temperature, and that is why I need to use LM-Sensors, but I do not know why my installed LM-Sensors does not monitor fan speed, and it only gets me the temperatures.
I am using Ubuntu 12.04 with kernel version of 3.2.0.23.
