[GIT PULL] x86 fixes for 2.6.36

Hi Linus,

As previously discussed, the last set of bug fixes for 2.6.36.  The
important one is the NUMA fix, of course.

The following changes since commit 0acc1b2afb6ded060b7d6b1b5e6ac8a00ec47547:
