Hi Rudolf, Patrick I examined our 792 driver for Windows, and discussed with our 792 Windows driver author CLHuang2 just now, find that in 792 Windows driver there is no "problem recovery after a transaction " codes at all. 792 Windows driver can work correctly because it does NOT examine the bit 7(HST_STS_DONE) of SMB_HST_STS. Since our 792 Windows driver has been proved/test work well, I suggest that the i2c-ali1563 driver remove the HST_STS_DONE related check so that our 792 linux driver can work. Any other opinion?
