hi you're right. it's nVidia drivers issue. after rmmod nvidia it works fine. how about creating a petition to nVidia, for example using www.petitiononline.com?? maybe it will help and they will put SMBus support in their drivers. I think that many linux portals will help in propagating this petition, cause nvidia cards are in many linux-boxes and HW monitoring is a "must have" in modern machine. bbkr
