great. thanks alot for getting it going again, and for taking out the CVS messages. I think some folks saw a while ago that things were hosed but didn't know who to contact. I'm coping our mail list so everybody has your address. The archive - together with the form for a google search of the archive that we put up on our site a couple of months ago - definitely helps people help themselves, which cuts down on tickets, email, etc. that we have to answer. So we really appreciate having it. Thanks again. mds Andrew Pollock wrote: > > Hi, > > I'm really sorry about the delay in getting back to you about this. > > I've removed all the old author messages out of the mail file, the mail > file that the archive is built from is still receiving messages, and I've > just discovered a stale lockfile floating around for the archiving > software, which I've removed, and I've kicked off a manual run of it now. > > When I next get some time, I'll look at rejigging the archive a bit, so > that it splits out by month or something, instead of making an > ever-lengthening page. > > Andrew > > On Thu, Nov 28, 2002 at 08:19:00PM -0500, Mark D.
