Hi,

lspci should show something like below:

lspci -nn | grep 1ae9
0c:00.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Wilocity Ltd. Wil6200 PCI Express Root Port [1ae9:0101] (rev 04)
0d:00.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Wilocity Ltd. Wil6200 PCI Express Port [1ae9:0200] (rev 04)
0d:01.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Wilocity Ltd. Device [1ae9:0202] (rev 04)
0d:02.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Wilocity Ltd. Wil6200 Wireless PCI Express Port [1ae9:0201] (rev 14)
0d:03.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Wilocity Ltd. Wil6200 Wireless PCI Express Port [1ae9:0201] (rev 14)
0f:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Wilocity Ltd. Wil6200 802.11ad Wireless Network Adapter [1ae9:0301] (rev 04)

My guess is that the last line is missing for you (dev 0301). It means the card is in WBE mode, which is the only mode officially supported.
The card needs to be in Wifi mode in order to work with the wil6210 driver. Unfortunately, this mode is currently not officially supported.

Thanks,
 Dedy.

Subject: Making Wil6210 card work on ubuntu

Hi,

I am new to this list. I recently got two Wil6210 cards and am trying to get them working on ubuntu. I used the lspci command to see the list of connected devices, but I can't find Wil6210 on it. Do these cards work with linux? Anyone experienced this problem before?

Thanks
Anuj
