Monitor mode stopped working after kernel upgrade

Update

I tried few more kernels (few longterm versions from kernel.org - 
3.2.52, 3.4.67, 3.9.11 and current stable 3.11.6).
On 3.4.67 monitor mode still works.

On version 3.9.11 and above it doesn't.

Unfortunately I wanted support for Ralink 5572 which works since ~3.10.
