I'm testing out a Chromos Samsung series 5 550 netbook, with an AR9300 2x2 NIC in it (as it came from factory..haven't cracked it open yet). I'm using the 3.8.0 kernel-next chromos kernel, with my own hacks on top of this, so of course it could be my problem. Not the easiest thing to upgrade a kernel on, so I haven't tried bisecting yet... OS is ChrUbuntu 11.04, 64-bit. My problem is that when I use several virtual-stations, it seems only one of them actually connects. For the rest, I see only associated messages, for instance, wlan0 works fine: 2013-04-13 19:23:03.833 1.1: wlan0 (phy #0): scan started 2013-04-13 19:23:03.833 1.1: wlan0 (phy #0): scan finished: 5180, "" 2013-04-13 19:23:03.833 1.1: wlan0: new station 00:00:00:10:10:03 2013-04-13 19:23:03.833 1.1: wlan0 (phy #0): auth 00:00:00:10:10:03 -> 74:e5:43:d6:07:b3 status: 0: Successful 2013-04-13 19:23:03.833 1.1: wlan0 (phy #0): assoc 00:00:00:10:10:03 -> 74:e5:43:d6:07:b3 status: 0: Successful 2013-04-13 19:23:03.833 1.1: wlan0 (phy #0): connected to 00:00:00:10:10:03 But at least most of the time, the others do not: 2013-04-13 19:32:54.345 1.1: sta1 (phy #0): scan started 2013-04-13 19:32:54.345 1.1: sta1 (phy #0): scan aborted: 5180, "" 2013-04-13 19:32:54.345 1.1: sta1: new station 00:00:00:10:10:03 2013-04-13 19:32:54.345 1.1: sta1 (phy #0): auth 00:00:00:10:10:03 -> 00:ff:ff:00:00:02 status: 0: Successful 2013-04-13 19:32:55.343 1.1: sta1 (phy #0): assoc 00:00:00:10:10:03 -> 00:ff:ff:00:00:02 status: 0: Successful 2013-04-13 19:33:07.917 1.1: sta2: del station 00:00:00:10:10:03 2013-04-13 19:33:11.571 1.1: sta2 (phy #0): scan started 2013-04-13 19:33:11.571 1.1: sta2 (phy #0): scan aborted: 5180, "" 2013-04-13 19:33:11.571 1.1: sta2: new station 00:00:00:10:10:03 2013-04-13 19:33:11.571 1.1: sta2 (phy #0): auth 00:00:00:10:10:03 -> 00:ff:ff:00:00:03 status: 0: Successful 2013-04-13 19:33:11.605 1.1: sta2 (phy #0): assoc 00:00:00:10:10:03 -> 00:ff:ff:00:00:03 status: 0: Successful 01:00.0 Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc.
