The SPI driver in particular is uglier than I'd like (with the unfortunately necessary byte swapping). I'm open to suggestons on how to clean this up. The SPI driver wasn't present in ST-E's original submission, and the SDIO driver has been rewritten quite a bit for stability and simplicity.
