Not completely true; the current WiMAX stack and kernel drivers do support the 6250 just fine; I have a 8086:0186 that does work. Unfortunately, due to some udev changes, the firmware loading is somewhat broken at boot time, so if you: rmmod i2400m_usb modprobe i2400m_usb that should get the device up and working, which you can verify by running 'dmesg' and you should see something like: [231523.953097] i2400m_usb 2-4:1.0: WiMAX interface wmx0 (00:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx) ready [231527.641585] i2400m_usb 2-4:1.0: firmware interface version 9.3.2 Dan > > > > > > 2012/12/11 Silvio Quadri <silvioq at gmail.com> > >> > >> 2012/12/10 Silvio Quadri <silvioq at gmail.com>: > >> > 2012/12/10 Silvio Quadri <silvioq at gmail.com>: > >> >> 2012/12/10 <hypnos75 at gmail.com>: > >> >>> Silvio, > >> >>> > >> >>> What does 'lsub -v' show?
