I have started with a fresh install of Fedora 14 on a Dell mini 1012 Intel</mc.ashx?id=Tech-Spec-Formatting:INTEL-ToolTip&c=us&l=en&s=dhs&modalwidth=400&modalHeight=150&ovropac=0&modalscroll=yes&modaltarget=div&modaltype=tooltip&position=bottom&title=Intel&flip=true&eventType=rollover> ? AtomTM N450 (1.66GHz/667Mhz FSB/0.5MB cache 1. ran yum update 2. Installed noarch wimax-fw-i6xxx-1.5-1.1.noarch.rpm 3. tried to install the wimax-1.5.1-35.2i386 and got dependency errors: wimax-1.5.1-35.2i386 requires libwimaxll.so.0 wimax-1.5.1-35.2i386 requires libeap.so.0 I then tried to get the repo file in /etc/yum.repos.d by issuing, as root gedit /etc/yum.repos.d and got: (gedit:12030): EggSMClient-WARNING **: Failed to connect to the session manager: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported ** GLib-GIO:ERROR:gdbusconnection.c:2270:initable_init: assertion failed: (connection->initialization_error == NULL) Aborted (core dumped) 4. so I tried to add the repo by cd /etc/yum.repos.d then issuing wget http://download.meego.com/live/home:/inaky:/pegatron-idf-2010/Fedora_13/: --2010-11-11 00:28:35-- http://download.meego.com/live/home:/inaky:/pegatron-idf-2010/Fedora_13/ Resolving download.meego.com... 140.211.166.231 Connecting to download.meego.com|140.211.166.231|:80... connected. I also tried yum install wimax-1.5.1-35.2i386 with the same result. 6.
