We want to implement a block device rather than a virtio-blk dataplane. And with this driver's help, the vhost-user-blk process could provide storage service to all APPs in the host.

I guess the point is that, with the help of VDUSE, besides vhost-vDPA for VM, you can have a kernel virtio interface through virtio-vdpa which can not be done in vhost-user-blk.
