those are quite unnecessary, the only thing we need to be careful about is USB_OTG_UTILS which get properly selected by PHY drivers. For now, MUSB will select only USB_OTG_UTILS until we add stubs for the cases when PHY layer isn't enabled. Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@xxxxxx> --- Hi folks, I plan to send this for v3.9-rc3 so we stop with all the bogus select and depends usage on MUSB. For v3.10 (or maybe v3.11 if I don't have time) I plan to add stubs for the PHY layer so that we can remove 'select USB_OTG_UTILS' from all drivers. cheers drivers/usb/musb/Kconfig | 5 ----- 1 file changed, 5 deletions(-) diff --git a/drivers/usb/musb/Kconfig b/drivers/usb/musb/Kconfig index 2f7d84a..05e5143 100644 --- a/drivers/usb/musb/Kconfig +++ b/drivers/usb/musb/Kconfig @@ -7,9 +7,6 @@ config USB_MUSB_HDRC tristate 'Inventra Highspeed Dual Role Controller (TI, ADI, ...)' depends on USB && USB_GADGET - select NOP_USB_XCEIV if (ARCH_DAVINCI || MACH_OMAP3EVM || BLACKFIN) - select NOP_USB_XCEIV if (SOC_TI81XX || SOC_AM33XX) - select OMAP_CONTROL_USB if MACH_OMAP_4430SDP || MACH_OMAP4_PANDA select USB_OTG_UTILS help Say Y here if your system has a dual role high speed USB @@ -49,8 +46,6 @@ config USB_MUSB_TUSB6010 config USB_MUSB_OMAP2PLUS tristate "OMAP2430 and onwards" depends on ARCH_OMAP2PLUS - select TWL4030_USB if MACH_OMAP_3430SDP - select TWL6030_USB if MACH_OMAP_4430SDP || MACH_OMAP4_PANDA config USB_MUSB_AM35X tristate "AM35x" -- 1.8.1.rc1.5.g7e0651a -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-usb" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
