Query for Nump value when CRC error in DP for USB3.0 Specification

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Respected Sir/Madam,

Reference : Universal Serial Bus 3.0 Specification.
(Including errata and ECNs through May 1, 2011)

Scenario 1 :
-> Bulk IN transfer of 1K is scheduled. That means device has
only one DP for transfer.
-> From testcase corrupt 1st DP of transfer with DPP_CRC32_ERR
by DEVICE.
-> Receiving this corrupt DP by HOST, host will transmit ACK
with retry bit set to 1.

Query 1 : If this is a simple BULK IN transfer,
What should be NumP value in ACK(rty),that is transmitted by
HOST upon receiving corrupted DP?

Query 2 : If this is a BULK IN STREAM transfer,
What should be NumP value in ACK(rty),that is transmitted by
HOST upon receiving corrupted DP?

Thanks in advance.
