The problem also exists on the device below:

          05e3:0606 Genesys Logic, Inc. USB 2.0 Hub / D-Link DUB-H4 USB 2.0 Hub

Looks the hub devices made of  Genesys Logic, Inc. chip are
very popular and can be found easily in electronics market, the
problem should be fixed.
