i've patched against 3.5.0 and it worked like a charm.
below portion of dmesg when the device was plugged,
did a few minutes of connexion and then unplugged.
Wonderful, thanks for testing, I'll queue it up for the 3.7 kernel
release after I clean up the debugging code a bit.
