Hi Matthew,

This patch does fix the error that Gary reported.  And even though it
doesn't completely fix your issue, it did make the same error messages
Gary was seeing go away.

I'll still be looking at your logs, but I'm leaving on vacation this
Friday, so I'm not sure if we'll have time to solve your issue before I
leave.  I'll be back Sept 4th.
