thanks a lot for all the fixes! Amazing how many defects have gone 
unnoticed for quite a long time.

I have now queued all this for 3.6.

I'll probably just go with plain 3.6 if you don't mind. Some of the 
problems have been there for quite a long time already, and I don't 
remember seeing any report as a fallout of those.
