The version of g_file_storage is given as " version: 20 November 2008".

Could you try with a newer kernel? You are using version that is at least
2 years old (ie. the version string has been changed by commit d8087427cce
on 3rd of September 2010).

There's commit 3f565a363cee14d2: “usb: gadget: storage: adapt logic block
size to bound block devices” which I feel may have to do with your problem.

Also, g_file_storage is deprecated, please (also) try mass_storage.
