Your perl script works for connecting on a Gobi 1000 card I have too, so
I assume it'll work on the Gobi 2000.  Can't test out the 2000 in my
laptop without pulling it out and stuffing into an external sled thanks
to stupid vendor rfkill wiring issues.

Of course, the qcserial driver conflicts with cdc-wwan/qmi_wwan now
because the Gobi 1000 cards have a different USB layout (they use
interface 3 not interface 0 for QMI/net).  But that's another patch.
