I did a little research on your laptop (Clevo P150HM) and it seems that the USB 3.0 ports are powered by NEC's chipset so what I'm guessing is that you may need to update your BIOS as I was reading about USB 3.0 issues with this laptop and that a BIOS update fixed it. That would be a good place to start especially with what I'm seeing in the messages log you posted.
