Ok, my initial thought was that it's more of a quirk for a new platform,
and therefore a feature.  I asked some other maintainers, and they said
that since it won't effect other platforms, and it's really a bug fix
for your platform, it's probably fine to queue to 2.6.39.  It's really
up to Greg if he decides to take it though.

It probably won't be in my next ground of bug fixes though, because I'm
still trying to debug a crash and some wonkiness with a USB webcam that
might be caused by Dmitry's bug fixes/refactoring patches.  Not sure if
it's his patches at this point, or something else that was queued for
2.6.39.
