Hi,

could you please help me with setting up the usbserial module? :)

I'm trying to get this UPS to communicate with my linux box:

# lsusb
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001
*Bus 002 Device 010: ID 0a6d:0005 UPS Manufacturing *
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002

# modprobe usbserial vendor=0x0a6d product=0x0005

but in the logs I only see:
[980731.660600] usb 2-1: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 11
[980736.640595] usb 2-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[1037434.823934] input: Ups Manufacturing RS232-USB converter as /class/input/input11 [1037434.845048] input: USB HID v1.00 Gamepad [Ups Manufacturing RS232-USB converter] on usb-0000:00:1d.0-1

A /dev/ttyUSB0 device doesnt' get created.
Do you have any tips on what could I try?

Kind regards,
Jure
