Okay. It did NOT work. I have many problems with 2.6.36 kernel. The
keyboard is locking up after some time so that a cannot type anything. Even
connecting via ssh does not work anymore. The access to teh serial ports
issnt possible.
After switching back to 2.6.34 i got these messages on dmesg:

usb 2-2: ws2500 timed out on ep0out len=0/0

ftdi_sio ttyUSB2: Unable to write latency timer: -110

usb 2-2: ws2500 timed out on ep0out len=0/0

ftdi_sio ttyUSB2: ftdi_set_termios FAILED to set databits/stopbits/parity

usb 2-2: ws2500 timed out on ep0out len=0/0

ftdi_sio ttyUSB2: ftdi_set_termios urb failed to set baudrate

usb 2-2: ws2500 timed out on ep0out len=0/0

ftdi_sio ttyUSB2: urb failed to clear flow control

usb 2-2: ws2500 timed out on ep0out len=0/0

usb 2-2: ws2500 timed out on ep0out len=0/0

I updated the BIOS to the latest version, but this did not help.
I tried to disable USB 2.0 in the BIOS, also with no luck.

I'm out of ideas. :-(
