No comment for now on patch contents, since I don't have time to twist my head around EHCI lately ... (Also, other folk have been more active in the EHCI periodic stuff. BUT: quirk patches should explain the quirk in driver comments not just GIT history, so the next person to wonder what's going on with that code won't need to search too hard (and may be able to modify that code safely even without the quirked hardware in hand).
