USBDescriptorKitchen is a GUI-driven tool that helps developers of USB firmwares to ease the pain of calculating lengths of descriptors, fiddling with bits, dealing with variable length fields etc. It is written in wxPython and works well on Linux and Mac OS X. It is released under the GPL and is available for download at git://github.com/zonque/USBDescriptorKitchen.git Have a close look at the README file, especially at the BUGS section.
