First I made the file /etc/udev/rules.d/ZTE_MF636_USB_Modem.rules with the
contents:

I then reconnected the modem.
There was no difference. The modem seems to be configured, but it does not
connect.
I installed "usb_modeswitch", I suppose this is correct and not
"usb_modemswitch" as written to me.
Then I restarted the computer. - No difference.
I have tried with just one of the two suggestion and both at the same time. -
No difference.
It looks to me like it may be that I need to run "usb_modeswitch" with some
options, but I do not understand what options.
When reconnecting the USB modem "dmesg" gave:

Because there seems to be 880 lines in lsusb.txt I have attached it. I suppose
