Hello to anyone, recently I happens to have a "Three" Skyphone, (I haven't purchased a cell phone since 2000, just wait for parents/relatives to buy a new one :-) Anyway it's an Amoi WP-S1 Skyphone by 3, with idVendor=1614 and idProduct=0804; I expanded its memory with a 2GB MicroSD since the phone can be used as usb storage, but when i plug it on any usb port (tried with different cables) there are many errors in dmesg. At this point the phone asks if operate as "storage" or "pc sync", choosing "storage", again many errors appears in dmesg and no device in /dev is created. I got this problem with all kernels, even with the new 2.6.33 I've enabled usb debug in the kernel for more verbose messages: [...] CONFIG_USB_DEBUG=y CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DEBUG=y [...] Oddly, just one time yesterday the block special file /dev/sdb was created for few seconds, and then again errors about device not accepting address. I hope someone can help me to make this phone work properly, more detail on hardware and software configuration follow, I'm available for further tests on the phone, thank you in advance for any help
