I can't duplicate your results here, probably because my system doesn't have highmem. The most likely culprit is commit b375e1169d8ecc9e9db3ecba8147d484b5510833 (USB: add scatter-gather support to usbmon). Related to it is commit 40f8db8f8f5af2cafeb976ae15e11aca641a931d (USB: EHCI: add native scatter-gather support) -- you shouldn't revert the first without reverting the second.
