thanks for the clarification, Oliver. For all the nice things coming to linux, device support is still pretty much limited to "popular" device. Apparently, this device is somewhat compatible to em28xx driver. I still new to this but I am starting to read document and hopefully in time to come be capable to do some development work in the event that the em28xx development team cannot afford the time or effort to make it work.
