Yes, it should work, even with something like new Geode for host.

Ron said he had a gadget, so it's probably an ARM of some kind.
Those babies clock at a gigagertz these days. With good RAM
and DMA controllers he could support USB 3. But yea, maybe he's
oversubscribing.
