Felipe,

With this entire series, we can't use Mode1 RX with
g_zero (looks like TX grabbed the channel first).

Reverting the patch that limits DMA channels. Mode1 RX
seems to be working. Need to test g_ether and g_serial
a little more than I did.

I've rebased your patches on top of other patches already
posted, and split out the obvious fixes from the others.
(This is still in my devel branch).

If its okay with you, let's wait for more comments from
others before reworking/sending out the next versions.
