tx can transfer everything with mode1.

Sure. However, in the host mode you have to switch to mode 0 at end of transfer with CPPI and the likes (that's why I'd like single-packet sends to be performed in mode 0 -- to avoid that switch). However, your patchset seems only to only be touching the gadget side which doesn't have this compication, so nevermind...

small is everything less than wMaxPacketSize.

I can't quite agree to such defition as wMaxPacketSize of 64 and 512 differ to me. Let's call them "short" for clarity, it seems more correct
and widely used term.
