I have tried version 1.19, 1.22 and 1.23 of dvb-fe-cx24116.fw with the same result. I am not aware of any other version but will check with the manufacturer.

OHCI is killed.

Any clues as of how to solve this? I am using the latest firmware avalible,
version and lsusb output before and after crash below

Your device kills both EHCI and OHCI. That means this is unlikely to be a bug
in the hci drivers. Is alternate firmware available for this device?
