It can be changed with compile option -DVHCI_NPORTS The maximum number is limited to USB_MAXCHILDREN (31). In my use case, service is in internet and need more devices than 8 or 31 to be served. Linux is major as internet service platform and also IoT nodes. I thought there's someone needs same extension.
