The simple front-end is packaged by Fedora (to appear in F11) and Gentoo
(although I think they ship an older version 4.x).

If someone knows anyone in OpenSuSE and Mandriva, they can take a spec
from here:

I stopped mounting debugfs a while ago. It was such a bother.
Now I'm thinking about dropping the text interface altogether,
or if that is undesirable, to move it under /dev and divorce
it from debugfs. Marcel Holtmann suggested doing so from the
start, but the API wasn't well understood at the time, and debugfs
is more malleable.
