First of all thanks to you!

Well I created the above patch exactly following from that
document, when it explain how to make a patch for a single
file (Section 1, point 1):

-------------------------------------------------------------------
[...]

To create a patch for a single file, it is often sufficient to do:

	SRCTREE= linux
	MYFILE=  drivers/net/mydriver.c

	cd $SRCTREE
	cp $MYFILE $MYFILE.orig
	vi $MYFILE	# make your change
	cd ..
	diff -up $SRCTREE/$MYFILE{.orig,} > /tmp/patch
----------------------------------------------------------

What format do you mean exactly?
Which part of that document are you exactly referring?

Nice to contribute at kernel improvement and learn how to
collaborate, anyway my "patch" just adds a single line to
the source file of "option" module... so I also would be
happy if you could re-create the patch for me.

Thanks again for your answer and your work!
See you!  :)
