Fabio,

the original phy nop works with the UPLI type 1704 which don't need a reset and chip select. Nop missed as well the function to set the external power setting etc. My succession to address this in an separate driver for 1504 type phy. (Like it was before in the
Freescale kernel) because its not a NOP any more.
