I've managed to test my card reader and CF card with NEC xhci controller. In that case all works fine. Wireshark capture looks pretty same, however on NEC controller capture doesn't contain SET_FEATURE requests with values 0x17 and 0x18.

I'm not sure but it seems that I've seen some topic on this list about differences in power management on intel and other controllers. So maybe my card reader has some issues with power management?

Is there any way to disable power management only for xhci without disabling it for the whole kernel with CONFIG_PM (I prefer to put my notebook to suspend to ram instead of powering it off)?
