It is a common use case to have two separate targets, one per each node in a 2-node cluster, with both targets converging on the surviving node should one node fail. It is likewise common to configure one portal address each (i.e., a virtual cluster IP) for each target. However, due to the fact that TGT can't bind specific targets to individual portal addresses, this actually means that a specific target is always visible on all configured IP addresses, which is awkward. Just as an aside, LIO does support multiple target portals, hence I like to utilize it for that purpose. Cheers, Florian
