Where is the genmap utility discussed in the guide (spkguide.txt in my
kernel source)?
That way we could just add our own key bindings. Is the guide outdated?

Sure, I just mean that there aren't so many shortcuts possibilities out
there. It's up to the speakup community to decide whether assigning a
default shortcut is desired.
