Fedora23 workstation install

What are root password security requirements for Fedora23?  How many 
characters; what types of characters as minimums?  Passwords I've entered 
one of which was 14 characters in length may be too short, but the 
installer doesn't complain coherently and explain exactly what is wrong 
with a password so I can't tell what I'm doing wrong.
