How to stop SpeakUp saying 'Capital'

Hi Mike,

Can you share the espeak modifications to prevent the kernel crashes? I 
have speakup working with espeakup on a cubieboard with an armv7hl 
processor. Using pulseaudio solved the stuttering and clipping problem 
with espeak, but I still get the kernel crashes.
