Hi all,
apologies for the off topic post, but this list is run by Mailman
which is a popular piece of software. So, I'm wondering if anyone here
knows of a solution to my problem.

I have a list where the subscriptions are moderated. I have a
subscription request which I'm unable to reject. I go to
domainname/mailman/admindb/listname, give the admin password, and hit
enter on let me in. For the e-mail address in question, I select the
reject radio button, type in an explanation into the text box, and hit
enter on submit. The page I get back though is still exactly the same,
and I get a pending subscription notification everyday. I also tried
using either submit button on top or bottom, tried rejecting with an
empty text box, and tried discarding with and without text in the box,
but no go.

Some googling shows people with the same problem, where not even
approving subscriptions works, but no solution that I could find. I
did some research to see if I could take care of this through e-mail,
or via the shell, but didn't find anything there either. Any thoughts
from others familiar with mailman? Oh yes, nothing in
/var/log/mailman/errors either. Thanks in advance.

Greg
